Earlier this month a young 9 year-old boy was molested in a City of Industry movie theater bathroom by a 45 year-old man, who was employed by a Downtown Disney retail store.
LA County Sheriff’s said about 2 weeks ago, 45-year-old Richard Camarena went into a restroom inside the Puente Hills Mall movie theater and forced his way into a bathroom stall while the boy was inside and inappropriately touched him.
After the 9 year-old boy’s mother contacted police and reported the incident, Richard Camarena was arrested.
A spokesperson for Downtown Disney did confirmed that the 45 year-old man was an employee at one of the retail stores there.
According to the spokesperson, Richard Camarena has reported been placed on administrative leave pending the resolution of the investigation..
As word spread about the horrible incident and arrest of a Disneyland employee, officials say they fear there could be more victims.
